Netia Television works exclusively as part of a bundle with fixed Internet. This is due to IPTV technology – all channel transmission takes place over the Internet connection, so an active Internet service is required.
IPTV Technology – How Netia Television Works
IPTV television consists of transmitting programs in the form of a data stream. The set-top box downloads the signal via the Internet and displays it on the TV. This allows you to enjoy:

Multiroom in Netia – Up to 3 Additional Set-top Boxes
In Netia, you can extend your television with up to 3 additional Multiroom set-top boxes, acting as a supplement to the main set-top box. They allow you to watch television on several screens simultaneously within one service.
Netia Multiroom comes in two versions:
Multiroom HD (standard)
- •Designed for HD or Full HD TVs,
- •Works with basic IPTV features,
- •Allows watching independent channels in other rooms,
- •Usually uses a simpler set-top box with basic functionality.
Multiroom 4K
- •Available as an extension to the main 4K set-top box,
- •Supports Ultra HD transmission,
- •Faster interface and more efficient components,
- •Adapted to modern 4K TVs.
Differences (general description, according to IPTV market realities)
- •Multiroom 4K supports high-resolution channels and content,
- •It runs on newer hardware, so the interface is noticeably smoother,
- •HD Multiroom is suitable for rooms with older TVs,
- •4K Multiroom requires higher bandwidth and a newer main set-top box model.
If devices differ in construction – usually 4K means a more powerful processor, more memory, support for newer codecs.
How Does Multiroom Work?
Each additional set-top box:
- •is linked to the main TV service,
- •operates within one Internet network provided by Netia,
- •allows watching different channels than those displayed on the main set-top box.
